PSDs

Let's just go straight to the example.

This is a picture without PSD:

And now the picture WITH PSD:

Lots of differences! .PSD is the default file extension for Photoshop. It is widely used as an independent learning tool to demonstrate the layering of adjustments, masks, text, clipping paths and more.

On tumblr it's normally used to save color adjustments so you can just add them to any picture, even though they won’t have the same effect on every picture.

How to USE (not make) a PSD:

1. Have the picture you want to add the psd to open in Photoshop. Like this:

2. You have to have a PSD file. If you don't, you can simply go on google and then download something when you find the one you like. And then open it in Photoshop.
3. Click on the PSD, and then you can see all the layers. Click on the PSD group one.

4. Drag the group to your base image (Chace Crawford picture for me) and then release.

The result. (Will look better with a few alterations but whatevs):

The PSD group has got to be on top of all the other layers otherwise it won't work!
